Yin Yoga and the power of stopping

Amanda Brough • 21 April 2026

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do… is stop

ο»Ώ

In a world that asks you to move faster, do more, habit stack, eat enough protein, walk enough steps and optimise everything, Yin offers something radically different - stillness, softness, acceptance of where you are and space to simply be.

In Yin, we meet our edge gently.

There’s no pushing or striving - just allowing. Using the breath as your guide, you’ll learn to sit with sensation, soften around intensity and surrender into stillness.

And that, often, is the hardest (and most needed) practice of all.

More and more of us are turning to Yin - not because it’s easy, but because we’re tired of the constant doing. From the moment we wake, the world rushes in.

Yin is your chance to step out of it.
