We’ve reached the final chapter, the final page, of a story that began in April 2023, when the lunar nodes — karmic points of destiny, release, growth, and transformation — entered the Aries/Libra axis of the zodiac.

Over the past two years, we’ve been cosmically called to see our relationships with fresh eyes... to redress the balance between self and other... to stop losing our sense of self to the desire to please another... to be interdependent rather than co-dependent ⚖️

It’s been an invitation to step into radical honesty, to meet ourselves with radical self-love, to courageously reshape our core values, and to rewrite the story of how we define and derive our self-worth.

Venus, the ruling planet of Libra, ends her current retrograde phase exactly an hour after the Moon reaches fullness — a powerful celestial signal that this cycle of learning, growth, and relationship evolution is now complete.

Every two years, Venus, goddess of love, retrogrades for 40 days, during which time she disappears completely from the sky. This journey is closely linked to the myth of Inanna, the Sumerian goddess who descends into the underworld — ruled by her sister Ereshkigal — in search of inner wisdom and renewal. When she emerges, she is stripped of her old identity, reborn as the morning star.

Like Venus and Inanna, many of our relationships have undergone a death and rebirth — not just over the past 40 days (although this has been a collectively challenging period astrologically), but across the wider arc of the past two years.
